Paediatric Surgery Masterclass 2025

Janda Baik, 23 May 2025 -The Paediatric Surgery Masterclass 2025 took place at The Kahaani Resort, attracting paediatric surgeons and master’s students from throughout the country to engage in discussions on contentious management issues surrounding various topics. This dialogue was facilitated by polls conducted several months prior to the event. The questions posed in the polls, along with the provided responses, highlighted the varied management practices adopted by different surgeons across regions. The presenters sought to formulate their own conclusions, grounded in pertinent literature. Each session was followed by dynamic discussions, where surgeons exchanged their experiences and offered valuable recommendations. The final sessions included Mr. Fauzi’s presentation on the implementation of POMR and the ramifications of related discussions. Furthermore, Mr. Koay, recently returned from Shanghai, shared insights from his experience as he pursued a special interest in paediatric urology, while also addressing the challenges faced during subspecialty training both before and after international attachments.

The gathering culminated in an exquisite luncheon at the hotel, accompanied by numerous photography sessions as old acquaintances reunited and exchanged stories.
