MAPS Scientific Meeting and 16th Annual General Meeting

The Malaysian Association of Paediatric Surgery (MAPS) invites you to attend the MAPS Scientific Meeting 2026, held in conjunction with the 16th Annual General Meeting. The meeting will take place on Saturday, 18 April 2026, at the SunMed Convention Centre, Level 4, Tower A, Sunway Medical Centre, Bandar Sunway. This year’s theme, Paediatric Colorectal Issues, will focus on inflammatory bowel disease and bowel dysfunction in congenital colorectal disorders, featuring expert speakers, scientific sessions, and opportunities for knowledge sharing.
Pre-meeting workshops will be held on Friday, 17 April 2026. The Bowel Management Workshop will take place at University of Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) and is open to surgeons, medical officers, and nurses involved in paediatric colorectal care (limited slots available). An Endoscopy Workshop will also be conducted at Hospital Pakar Kanak-kanak UKM (HPKK UKM), available to members on a first-come, first-served basis.
MAPS also welcomes abstract submissions, with a deadline of 15 March 2026. Participants are encouraged to register early and join this engaging meeting dedicated to advancing paediatric colorectal care.
